Autosafe Australia is a leading manufacturer of vehicle safety and storage systems, trusted by trades and fleet operators nationwide. To support continued growth, the company expanded its Croydon facility with a new warehouse fitout designed to improve workflow, increase production capacity, and enhance delivery efficiency for its Australian-made vehicle safety products.

Project Overview

Objective: Adapt a larger warehouse into a functional showroom and operational workspace, allowing vehicle access while maintaining safety and separation between work zones.

Outcome: A practical warehouse fitout featuring large glass doors for showroom access and a solid timber wall to isolate the MDF cutting room, improving safety, usability, and presentation.

Removal of existing warehouse windows
Supply and installation of large glass double doors for showroom vehicle access
Construction of a 3-metre-high timber wall to separate the MDF cutting room
Plastering and painting to match the existing warehouse interior

Challenges & Solutions

1. Showroom Vehicle Access

Challenge: Autosafe needed vehicles to drive directly into the showroom without compromising the building’s security or appearance.

Solution: We removed the existing warehouse windows and installed large glass double doors, providing easy vehicle access while maintaining a clean, professional façade.

2. Safety & Separation of the MDF Cutting Room

Challenge: The MDF cutting area needed to be safely isolated from the showroom to reduce dust, noise, and safety risks.

Solution: A solid, 3-metre-high timber wall was constructed, then plastered and painted to blend seamlessly with the warehouse interior, creating a clear and safe separation between work zones.
