About the Client

GMK Logistics relocated to a larger warehouse facility and required a complete office fitout across two levels to support their growing team. The project involved creating functional, private workspaces while maintaining an open, light-filled environment suitable for both staff and client meetings.

This fitout was carefully planned and delivered to maximise space efficiency, natural light, and operational flow within the warehouse setting.

Scope of Works

Ground Floor Fitout

Constructed two staff offices on the ground floor
Used half-height glass partitions
Provided privacy while maintaining openness
Allowed natural light to flow through the space
Prevented the area from feeling enclosed

First Floor Fitout

Upstairs, additional staff offices were built alongside a large client meeting room fitted with double doors. The meeting room was designed to comfortably accommodate team discussions and client presentations while maintaining a professional finish.

Challenges & Solutions

Site Access and Material Delivery to the 2nd floor

Challenge:

Transporting over 100 plaster sheets and other construction materials to the upper level required careful coordination. The warehouse stair access was utilised with additional labour to safely move materials upstairs. A forklift was also used to assist with lifting plaster sheets to the second level wherever possible.

This logistical planning ensured the project stayed on schedule without compromising safety standards.

Solution:

Our team implemented a structured material handling plan to overcome the access limitations. By combining manual labour support with mechanical lifting equipment, we were able to efficiently transport materials to the second floor.

Construction was completed methodically, ensuring:

Clean, professional installation of glass partitions
Efficient use of warehouse floor space
Minimal disruption to surrounding operational areas
High-quality finishing across both levels
